I finally found Oracle of Ages again. I'm going to try to finish it tonight or tomorrow, because I'm going to give it away on Friday. I also found Pokemon Silver, but that wasn't as dire to find.

I'm kind of in love with these shoes. I want them. I'm working at the Heimerdinger's next weekend, and I'll have enough money after that to buy them. However, after reading the reviews, I'm not sure if I should or not... I also like these, too, but not as much.

gfndskghsk sexy.

why does Brown School feel the need to suck at everything.

I just ask myself that sometimes.

Tonight was our concert, and it was weird, because the choir was the best, which is so weird because for the past 10 years they've sucked so badly. I'm just not use to them being good.

Some people looked pretty good tonight, though.

The science final was fairly easy, I just hope that I actually did well on it and I don't just think I did.

I hope the French final is easy.

Accidentaly On Purpose is pretty much the worst show ever. They only make pregnant jokes (the same pregnant joke) and drug jokes. "omg you gaiz, I'm so high." "omg hay look im pregnant." No, shut the fuck up, JENNA ELFMAN, if that is your real name.

Alec Baldwin + Meryl Streep + sex scenes = yay. I can't wait to see that movie, whatever it's called.

I'm still not feeling better.

I have to go to the doctor's soon, to get tested for diabetes and my mom says I probably need a brain scan, too. My headaches and dizzy spells are getting to hard to deal with.

Madelynn's house was good. I wasn't planning on spending the night, but I did anyways. It made me super tired. Today, mom and I hung out with George and we made him put our Christmas tree up. We now have to decorate it, which I am dreading. Anybody want to come over and do it for me?

We also went to see Fantastic Mr. Fox today, and, wow. That was definitely one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. I absolutely loved it. Now I want to make some puppets.

Currently, I'm making a crocheted headdress made of little snowflake panels. They're really easy to make, but I'm not sure how much they look like snowflakes...

I'm looking for white blouses with blue details. I found one, but I can't afford $90 at the moment.

I haven't posted in a while...

My trip to New York was last week, and it went well. I bought a lot of things that I probably shouldn't have...but it's okay. It also wasn't very cold, which was nice; considering last year, which was freezing.

We flew into the city on Tuesday night. It was a nice change from driving, which usually takes about 16 hours, while this only took 2 hours. On Wednesday, mom and I went shopping, mainly for fabrics. We went to Mood, and wow, pure love. We also went to a place called M&J Trimmings, which was also really neat, and I ended up spending $60 on lace and trims. After our fabric shopping adventure, we went to Bryant Park to look at the little shops that they have set up for Christmas. There was a lot of nice stuff, but we were tired, so we went home. (Luckily, my aunt's apartment is close to the park, so we didn't have far to walk.)

On Thursday, my dad picked me up for Thanksgiving dinner at my aunt Mary's house. (She's his sister.) I always have so much fun at their house, as they're pretty crazy. However, nothing really happened this time, so nothing to report. (Oh, except that Mary and her daughter Jackie got matching tattoos of a cross with a shamrock in the middle. I find that hilarious for some reason.) Nothing much happened. On Friday, dad and I went Black Friday shopping, but we didn't really get any deals. We actually didn't go that many places, because I didn't want to actually shop. I've decided I hate shopping unless it's online. We went to Kinokuniya Bookstore, which is across from Bryant Park, who sells some lolita clothes. Dad bought me a dress for my Christmas present, much to his loathing, and also a Kingdom Hearts phone strap (of Cloud). I hope he still sends me a card, though; he let me buy my own presents last year and didn't send me a card, which made me really sad. We then went to Tokyo Rebel, which is in the Village (and so far away from everything else...) and I bought some AP socks that match the dress. That's a cool little store, but so small and far away... It's also next to the Life Café, and if you've heard or seen Rent, you'll know that that's freaking awesome. I didn't know that it was a real place. On that Friday, we also went to the Tim Burton exhibit, which was at the MoMA. That was a pretty epicly awesome exhibit, I loved everything, except that it was so damn crowded. We got there at 11 am and they had almost sold out all tickets (until 4pm, which is when it closes, I guess.) But I still enjoyed it.

Dad returned me to Gretchen's house on Friday night. On Saturday, my aunt Gretchen, my cousin Conor, my mom, and I went to see Jersey Boys, which was actually freaking amazing. I didn't think that it was going to be, because I didn't like the music that much, but it turned out to be fantastic. We went to the matineé, and afterwards, went to Alfredo's of Rome, which is evidently a branch of the original Alfredo's. It was sooooo tasty, but really expensive. (Good thing Gretchen has money.) Sunday was the day of our departure, but we didn't leave until late. Mom and I went to the Scandinavian House, which is right by my aunt's apartment on Park Avenue, and bought some very cute Christmas ornaments. After that, we headed over to Kinokuniya Bookstore again, and this time, I bought a rabbit purse (which I'm assuming is for little kids, because the strap is small, but it's still amazingly cute,) and possibly the latest issue of Alice Deco, which was interesting to look at. Mom and I then headed over to Bryant Park again and had a tasty crepe. Then we left, went home, and shortly after, went to the airport. It was a smooth flight both ways, which was good.

And I also got a Wii. My aunt just gave it to me, because they weren't using it...

So here I sit. I stayed home from school today because my mom overslept, and it's easier to be absent than it is to be late. I think I'm going to go sew.
big bang theory hooray!
I've been having a good week so far. I've been hyper, which might not be good to people around me (as I can get mighty annoying) but I've been having fun.

Going to the mall today to look for a red cardigan. If I can't find one at Macy's or Kohl's, I'm probably going to get the BABY one that I've been looking at.

I made three Zelda shrinky-dink charms, and I'm going to make more tonight. So far, I made a Goron, a Zora, and a Deku Scrub.Hopefully I can go to the craft store and get some clasps and crimp beads, so I can make nice necklaces instead of elastic ones. My idea is to make a lot of Zelda ones, and make some Pokemon ones, too, and start selling them. I know I say that all the time, but I really want to do this.

I've been thinking about it, and I think it would be ridiculously fun to have a booth at a convention. I'm getting a tablet for Christmas, and I would want to make a bunch of prints and have a booth, along with jewelry. I was also thinking that I could make a Pokemon book with drawings of the Pokemon in specific games. (Like, I would make a R/G/B/Y book with pictures of the original 151 in my style.) Just a thought. But I think it would be fun, although hard work.

I cannot listen to this song without getting a little sad and/or crying. I'm not entirely sure why, because it's a really happy song.

I just wish I could start again somewhere else. I want to move.

I wish I could move in with my dad and not fear for my life every day and miss my mom terribly.

Or maybe I just wish that I was a different person. Or maybe I wish that I could just change my personality one day and that I could become a more likeable person, or just a better person in general.

I really hope that my mom is right, and that I am getting the flu, because nothing would please me more than not having to deal with anyone all weekend.

I cancelled the meet-up for tomorrow, but that's okay, because I feel ridiculously shitty.

My head is going to explode, I'm convinced of it.

But I'm going to see Chicago on Sunday, and I'm happy about that. Hopefully I'll be feeling better by then.

I feel like I'm dying, slowly, slowly...

I made two new Polyvore coordinates:

I really want both of these, now. The shoes on the second one are nearly $1000, but they are so fucking awesome.

I bought the white Bodyline shoes that I was looking at. They were only $25, and with free shipping, too...so I couldn't resist. I made that money from selling headbows, yay!

I'm leaving for Virginia tomorrow, but I'm only going to be gone for three days. I hate going on these long trips for only a few days...

There were other things I was going to say! Now I can't think of them, damn...

Watching Glee and evidentaly, Puck's real name is Noah. Of course, this is the episode where he and Rachel hook up, so everyone keeps saying, "Oh, Noah is so great," and "Noah's such a great kisser." Yargh, and I just stopped wondering about what those fools were talking about in geometry. Now I'm thinking about it again.

Went to go get sushi last night with my mother, it was very nice. She was trying to help me feel better. I don't know how well that worked, but I did feel full at the end. Satisfied...so it was good, I guess.

I'm still feeling sad. I don't know why. This has gone on too long.

I just bought my first AP dress, which is exciting. It was only $80, which is good. (Starting to think that my mom wanted to buy it to, again, make me feel better...)
picture:

It's cute. And I've been looking for it for a while.

My new stockings and blouse got here on Thursday, and I got a chance to wear the blouse yesterday when we went out for dinner. (I actually saw a member of [info]ky_lolita there, but she's not very active on lj.) I wore a pair of my stockings on Friday.

I took the PSAT on Wednesday, and I thought it went alright, except for the reading comprehension, which I am always bad at. The math questions went really well, mainly because they didn't have any calculus and the geometry on there was really basic. (And, of course I can do the algebra.) And the "writing skills" portion was a joke.

Going to see Where The Wild Things Are today with Madelynn, I think...

I just want to feel better.

I had a busy Saturday. I fell asleep on Friday night at 9 pm while I was watching Dollhouse (and I was really looking forward to seeing it, too!) and then woke up on Saturday at 11 am or so. I was a tired person, and I still am. Later on, I went to see Zombieland, which was awesome but kind of disgusting. (Not as disgusting as Planet Terror, I must say. There was a lot of gurgling and bloody drool that the zombies were...drooling, but not omgexplosion of ick.) It was good, and it was an attempt at a first date. When my mom picked me up, however, she said, "That wasn't much of a date...you should have got coffee or something." Probably should have, but whatever. I don't really want to date anybody right now anyways.

Then I went straight to Madelynn's house for the Teenage Angela show. They played well, nice job guys, and two of the other bands (Tints and Slingshot Dakota, who were the headliners) were shitty, but acceptable. The Seedy Seeds were fantastic, though. I bought a t-shirt with dandelions on it. After that, we went to see Rosemary's Baby, which was the midnight movie at the Baxter. That was good, like I remembered. I was so tired though, I was afraid I was going to fall asleep. So when it was over, we went back to Madelynn's house and I fell asleep immediately.

The next day (also known as today,) we just sat around like the fat asses we are and watched Toddlers in Tiaras and Family Guy. We're cool, I know.

Today I also bought the Retroscope blouse that I had been looking at for ages and 3 pairs of tights, in orange, red, and pink. You know that I'm cool. I'm planning out a coordinate already with the red tights, and the pink ones will just go with everything. I was planning to wear the orange ones with my apple dress and also with my Halloween outfit.
big bang theory hooray!
GREAT SUCCESS!

So...yeah, it's been a pretty good day, except my feet are killing me.

KINGDOM HEARTS FINALLY GOT HERE, YAY!

TOO BAD I CAN'T PLAY IT UNTIL I GET SOMEONE ELSE'S DS, NO!

Glee tonight, yayyyyy! See, it's a very good day; when Glee comes on, you know it's good.

And I got my posters for the lolpregnant thing today, yay! And Madelynn and I hung up posters for Teenage Angela (on Saturday at Skull Alley!) on Bardstown Road, that's fun.

This is terrifying. THAT ASS.

I love these things.

THE NECK RUFF.

St. James today, then ushering later tonight. We're going to be working at Midsummer Night's Dream, which will be good (hopefully.) Set in the 60's? You know it. The last Shakespeare play I saw that was set in the 60's was As You Like It, and that was fantastic. (I saw it at the Stratford festival in Canada, and Barenaked Ladies did the music! It was goooooood.)

Then, tomorrow we have a meet-up. YEY. We haven't had one of those for a while. I still have to figure out what I'm going to wear, but I think I have an idea. :D

I want to see Zombieland, Capitalism: A Love Story, and The Invention of Lying, because we found out that that movie is "atheist propaganda." SOUNDS GOOD TO ME. (My mom's words were: "We have to see it! It's about religion!" I then read the article about how it was about ATHEISM and said, "yeah, alright.") But I have to wait and go see Zombieland with someone else, because my mom doesn't want to see it after learning that it was nothing but a bloodbath. MAKES ME WANNA SEE IT MORE.

We have a 5-day weekend, that's pretty good. I need to write my science conclusion.

It was a lie when they smiled and said "you won't feel a thing."

Was feeling sick yesterday, feeling better today. I had a fever, headache, cough, and sore throat, so I went home early yesterday and stayed home today. I should be back to school tomorrow, though. ♥

Cara's goodbye party is tonight. We're going out to eat at Sesame, which is everyone's favorite Chinese restaurant. Mimi, Fritz, and Tory are going to be there, as well as my mom, me, and Cara (obviously.)

She leaves tomorrow. D:
